Daniel Kohler
Daniel J. "Dan" Kohler, 51, of Rockford, OH formerly of Botkins, died 3:32 a.m., Sat. March 3, 2018, at Mercer Co. Community Hospital, Coldwater, OH.
He was born May 13, 1966, in Sidney, the son of Leon A. & Pauline (Quinter) Kohler. His mother survives in Botkins, and his father preceded him in death.
Survivors include, siblings, Ann (Steve) Hoying, Minster, Jan (Ray) Geraci, Moorestown, NJ, Karen (Randy) Dammeyer, Celina, Mike (Ruth) Kohler, Botkins, Marie (Chris) Phillips, Alexandria, OH, Ellen Kohler, Huntsville, AL, numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces & grand nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by sister, Elaine Kohler.
A 1984 graduate of Botkins High School, Dan was also a graduate of The Ohio State University. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins. In his younger years, he was avid outdoorsman. Dan loved farming.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thurs. March 8, 2018, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins, with Rev. Patrick Sloneker officiating. Burial is to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 3-8 p.m., Wed. at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, 1102 Lincoln Ave. (St. Rt. 501) Wapakoneta.
