County set to join opioid lawsuit
Drugmakers, distributors targeted

CELINA - Mercer County officials plan to hire a law firm to pursue civil litigation against manufacturers and wholesale distributors of prescription opiates, claiming they have a role in the opioid epidemic.
The officials want to join numerous counties throughout the country in filing multidistrict litigation against the drug companies, according to Mercer County Assistant Prosecutor Amy Ikerd. [More]

Majo makes court appearance, adds attorney
CELINA - A 20-year-old Coldwater man accused of aggravated murder in connection with a neighbor's death appeared in court Friday morning.
