Montezuma Fire Chief Ron Schulze is retiring from the department after nearly 41 years. He won't miss being awoken in the dead of night to respond to fires, but he will miss the camaraderie of his fellow volunteers. His retirement open house is set for 1-3 p.m. April 29 at the Montezuma fire station.
