Regina Lange
Regina A. Lange, age 80, of St. Henry, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at The Gardens at St. Henry.
She was born October 11, 1937 in Ft. Recovery, Ohio, to the late Walter & Anna Marie (Knoth) Steinbrunner. On June 7, 1958 she married Virgil Lange and he survives in St. Henry.
She is also survived by her children: Karen & Ralph Westgerdes, Mike & Peg Lange, Jerry Lange, Ron & Lori Lange and Dave Lange all of St. Henry, and Tim & Cally Lange of Celina. Regina is also survived by 16 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother, Walter & Karen Steinbrunner of West Union, and in-laws: Vernon Lange of St. Henry, Dave & Pam Lange of Coldwater, Tom & Brenda Lange of St. Henry, Donald Lange of Ft. Recovery, Rosemary & Leroy Bensman of St. Henry, Marjorie & Vincent Schoenherr of Ft. Recovery, JoAnn & Ed Davis of Celina, Ruth & Paul Backs of St. Henry, Esther Lange of St. Henry, Virginia & Earl Goewert of St. Henry, Luella & Glen Klosterman of Galena, Betty & Herb Hamberg of Coldwater, Shirley & Dennis Hartke of Sidney, Betty Lange and Lucy Lange both of St. Henry.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Joyce Lange, and a son James Lange, her parents in law, Henry & Philomena (Minnie) Lange, siblings, Shirley Reinhard, and Ralph Steinbrunner, and in laws: Alfred (Fritz) Lange, Henry (Dutch) Lange, and Katie Lange.
She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, and the Altar Rosary Sodality. She was a member of the Catholic Financial Life in St. Joe, was a former C.K. of A. member, and a former C.K. of A. National Board Member. Regina was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her gardens and flower beds, polka dancing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday, April 23, from 2:00 to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Care, The Gardens at St. Henry Activity Fund, or the Alzheimers Association.
