Jean Marie Sunderhaus Losher, 91, of Fort Wayne passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, July 7, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN.

Jean was born May 29, 1927 in Celina, OH, the daughter of the late Matthew and Levon Sunderhaus.

She was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Jean enjoyed reading, crewel needle work, traveling, and loved spending time with her family and friends, Jean never met a stranger and she always had a kind word to say. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

The family wishes to thank all of the care givers for all their love and time devoted to keeping Jean at home.

She is survived by her children Richard G (Nancy) Losher and Jane Losher both of Fort Wayne, IN, William (Clara) Losher of Estero, FL, Jill Losher, Julie (Robert) Peters, Mark (David Shapiro) Losher and Tom (Belinda) Losher all of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren Tim, Dan and Lindsay Losher, Elizabeth (Mikhail) Skordos, Kathryn Peters, Sara (Chris) Galloway and Thomas Losher; great grandchildren Benjamin, Emmajane, Jacob, Josephine and Maddie; sister Hannah Heckler of Celina OH.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E Losher, sister, Margaret Heistan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Rd with calling one hour prior.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm & 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with a rosary at 3:30 pm. Burial will be in Saint John Catholic Cemetery, New Haven.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Soup Kitchen.
