Livestock champions sell at auction

The grand champion pen of three roaster chickens shown by Cassella Buckeyes member Braden Topp, son of Kent and Joan Topp, sold for $1,625 to a group including Wagner's IGA Markets; Family Wealth Partners; C-Town Wings; Moeller Door and Window; Tom Ahl Family Dealership; Minster Bank; Hemmelgarn Services Inc.; North Star Plumbing, Heating and Cooling; Alvetro Orthodontics, Bob Mayo-Seed Consultant; B&B Truck and Auto; and Huelsman Automotive.

Not available for a photo was the reserve pen of three roaster chickens shown by Lassies and Ladies 4-H member Nathan Marchal, son of Tom and Lucy Marchal, which sold for $300 to a group including the Adam Weitzel Family, St. Henry Bank and St. Henry Tile Co.
