Steve Wurster of Celina stirs one of the boiling kettles of beans on Monday at the 120th annual Durbin Bean Bake in a five-acre woods on Erastus-Durbin Road, west of Celina. Hundreds of attendees - many of whom have been coming to the event for as long as they can remember, got a hearty dose of delicious grub, exercise, entertainment and patriotic reflection on a beautiful Labor Day. The event began in honor of Civil War veterans.
