Very strong wind gusts and dry soil is leading to areas of blowing dust across the area. This is causing visibility to be reduced to one mile or less in localized area.
Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility. Slow down and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
As winds slowly decrease late this afternoon into the evening, blowing dust should diminish.

Diane Fennig
Diane S. Fennig, age 64, of Celina, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019, at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
She was born March 2, 1954, at the Naval Base Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia, a daughter of Dallas E. & Kathryn "Kitty" (Gengler) Pierstorff. Her father passed away on March 24, 2013, and her mother survives in Celina. On September 27, 1986, Diane married Barry Fennig.
He survives, along with three daughters: Kate (Bryan) Davis of Celina, Jessica Mullins of Rockford, and Megan (Chris) Brillhart of St. Augustine, Florida; five grandchildren who called her "Mimi": Neenah (Austin) Tester, Nate Houts, Malia Tharp, Elijah Tharp, and Bristol Shreves; and two great-grandchildren: Kane Tester and Jhettlee Chilcoat. Also surviving are her brother & sister: Rebekah Snead of St. Augustine, Florida, and Eric (Jodi) Pierstorff of Celina; brothers & sisters-in-law: Phil A. (Cheryl) Fennig, Tiara Roberts, and Larry (Susan) Fennig, all of Celina; and several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents-in-law: Philip & Frances (Jolly) Fennig.
Diane was a 1972 graduate of Celina High School. She worked as a Customer Service Representative at Reynolds + Reynolds in Celina for 30 years.
She was a very active member of Mt. Carmel Church of God, Celina, serving with the Youth Group, teaching Sunday School, and performing vocals for special church events. Diane enjoyed planning activities for the Youth Group, such as Christmas Caroling. Performing as a clown, Diane would entertain for the Children's Church Ministry, and at the Mercer County Relay for Life, Celina Lake Festival, and Durbin Bean Bake.
Diane was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Durbin Bean Bake Community Club. She helped prepare food for the annual "Bean Bake", and also dressed as a clown for the event, making balloon animals for the children.
Always an animal lover, Diane had pet reptiles as a child. As an adult, she and her family raised a variety of animals, such as horses, goats, sheep, ducks, cats and dogs. Her favorites were her Granddogs, Odin and Champ.
A very adventurous person, Diane loved outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting, snow skiing, and camping. She also enjoyed spending time tubing and water skiing on the lake. Diane was an avid reader, and very artistic and creative. She was a very good cook, and had quite a sweet tooth.
Diane was a true miracle, who courageously battled pancreatic/liver cancer for 18 years. She was very strong, and never complained. Diane was a role model to many, and always did what was right.
Calling Hours are from 2:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, at Mt. Carmel Church of God, 2493 Carmel Church Rd., Celina, and 1 hour prior to Services on Saturday.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 26, at Mt. Carmel Church of God. Pastor Mark Wakeland will officiate. Burial will be at Buck Cemetery, near Celina.
Memorial Contributions may be made to: The American Cancer Society, Cancer Association of Mercer County, or Camp Otyokwah Church Camp, Butler, Ohio.
