Martina Uhlenhake
Martina J. Uhlenhake, age 91 of St. Henry, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born on January 17, 1928 in Philothea, Ohio to the late Theodore & Matilda (Braun) Homan. On October 29, 1949 she married Carl Uhlenhake at St. Marys Church in Philothea and he passed March 8, 2016.
She is survived by ten children: Daniel & Sandra Uhlenhake of Corpus Christi, TX, Barbara & Matthew Micetich of Columbus, Patricia & Daniel Sanders of Gahanna, JoAnn & Jack Hartings of Coldwater, Jerome & Janice Uhlenhake of St. Henry, Mary & Jim Gross of St. Henry, Diane & Jerry Barga of North Star, John & Ann Uhlenhake of St. Henry, Carol & Joe Jones of Dayton and Lori & Chris Rammel of St. Henry; 26 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren; and siblings: Edward & Luella Homan of Coldwater, Louis & Mildred Homan of Dayton, Mary Lou Klopfenstein of St. Marys, Helen & Richard Trigg of Springfield, MO, and Helen Homan of Coldwater.
She is preceded in death by two grandchildren; siblings and in-laws, Raymond Homan, Leonore Homan, Alvira Homan, Alfred & Bernadine Homan, Victor & Esther Homan, Viola & Harold Muhlenkamp, Thomas Homan, Ralph Klopfenstein and Julianna Homan, Mary & Irvin Gonya and Bernadette & Paul Hasenkamp.
She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, and the Altar Rosary Sodality.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2018 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 until 6 pm Sunday, February 17, and 9 until 10 am Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cancer Association of Mercer County, State of the Heart Care, or National Blood Clot Alliance.
