Lou Ann Timmerman
Lou Ann Timmerman, age 87 of Philothea, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019, in St. Henry.
She was born January 5, 1932 in Philothea, to the late August Sr. & Cecelia (Eyink) Dues. On April 16, 1958 she married Robert Timmerman who died November 10, 1983.
Lou Ann is survived by her five children, Cindy & Ken Alexander of Ft. Loramie, Becky & Norb Brunswick of Versailles, Luke Timmerman of Philothea, Lynn & Kent Wolters of Tipp City, Jill & Brian Laurence of Delaware; 11 grandchildren - Tiffany, Chelsea, Brandy, and Ryan & Emily Alexander, Greg, Chris, and Mitch Brunswick, Kristen Wolters, Tyler, Aidan, and Caleb Laurence, and her first great grandchild, Levi Alexander. She is also survived by in-laws Pauline Timmerman of Coldwater, and Bob Pax of St. Henry.
Lou Ann was the last living member of her family and is preceded in death by siblings and in-laws, Irene & Paul Homan, Clara & Urban Hemmelgarn, August Jr. & Mildred Dues, Lee & Roseann Timmerman, Rita & Melvin Wendel, Tom & Sue Timmerman, Bill & Molly Timmerman, Melvin Timmerman, Rosemary & Norb Metzger, Dorothy Pax, and Betty & Romie Pax.
Lou Ann was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea, and the Ladies Sodality. She was a lifelong farmer and homemaker, and worked over 25 years at Celina Manor.
Lou Ann enjoyed her grandchildren, visiting with friends, and her dog, Brownie, and farm cats. She also enjoyed gardening, riding Luke's four-wheeler, lawn mowing, and listening to Polka music.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, May 18, 2019, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, May 17, and 8:30 to 9:30 am Saturday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
