Special Weather Statement issued January 10 at 1:39PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Light snow is expected across the area early Sunday morning. Minor snow accumulations are possible. Temperatures around freezing will support the development of slick spots, especially on elevated and untreated surfaces. Additional snow showers are expected throughout the morning with temperatures dropping into the mid and upper 20s. As the snow showers move through, quick bursts of snow will reduce visibility and result in light snow accumulations which may cover roadways.
If traveling Sunday, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for rapidly changing driving conditions.

Ronald Fennig
Ronald L. Fennig, age 72, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, June 10, 2019 after a brief illness.
He was born on February 11, 1947 in Celina, Ohio to Dale Milo Fennig and Marilyn Winona (McGill) Fennig Hecker, both of whom preceded him in death.
He graduated from Coldwater High School in 1965 and went on to earn his Associate Business Degree from Miami-Jacobs University. He then proudly served 4 years in the United Stated Air Force Academy as a Sergeant. In 1971 he was honorably discharged and chose to stay and make roots in Colorado far away from the humidity of the Midwest.
He worked 40+ years at the United States Postal Service, making many friends along the way, and although the job was demanding he always found time to juggle the busy sports schedule of his two sons, even coaching some of their baseball teams. He always found time to cheer on his beloved Denver Broncos while enjoying a Sunday steak dinner, played a mean game of racquetball, try whatever crazy new ideas his grandchildren could convince him to do, enjoy a nice vodka cocktail, or just be a good listening ear to any friend or family member.
Ron was a loving father to two sons; Derek and Jeffrey, a cherished grandfather to four; Brianna, Liam, Sabine and Elise, and a lifelong friend to brother, Richard, and Phillip (whom preceded him in death).
Ron will be laid to rest with military honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery (staging area C) on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 10:15 am. A celebration of his fun loving life will follow, starting at 10:45 am, at the Homestead at Fox Hollow located at 11500 W. Hampden Avenue, Denver CO 80227.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Ron's name to the American Heart Association.
