A band of snow showers will drop into the region from northern Indiana, and push through the region through the afternoon. Some snow showers could produce a quick light coating of snow on elevated surfaces and bridges. Visibility may also be briefly reduced to a half mile or even less. Northwest winds will also gust up to 30 MPH.
Lighter snowfall will continue into the evening behind the initial band of snow showers, with accumulations from a few tenths to isolated accumulations of up to an inch.
Motorists should exercise caution and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.

Kip Wright of Celina has long served as an unpaid tour guide, showing off the Mercer County Courthouse to visitors from across the nation and Canada. He is looking to recruit a new generation of guides to fill in for him occasionally and to prepare for the courthouse's 100th anniversary in 2023.
