* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Bartel Desch Jr.
Bartel David Desch Jr. 86, peacefully passed away at home in San Francisco, CA on July 7, 2019, after several months in hospice care.
He was born in Coldwater, Ohio, on Aug. 13, 1932, to Bartel T. and Anna E. (Meldrum) Desch who preceded him in death. On Jan. 16, 1965 he married Edith J. Gaviglio who preceded him in death on May 29, 1997.
Survivors include one brother, Tim Desch; two children, Angela (Erick) Ortega of Sunnyvale, CA and Michael (Nancee) Desch of Englewood, Ohio, and four grandchildren, Gillian Ortega, Gwyneth Ortega, Daniel Desch and Bryan (Michaela) Desch.
He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Theodore Desch, Natalie Mestemaker, Sandra Rindler and Janice Layman.
Bartel was a 1951 graduate of Coldwater high School. Upon graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Alaska. He moved to California in the early 1960's and found his calling in the food service industry. His catering career began with Guckenheimer Catering and the Bohemian Grove. He soon branched out to own the Irving Street Coffee Shop and Tout de Suite Catering.
A Mass to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at St. John of God in San Francisco at 4:15 p.m.
