* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Barbara Springer
Barbara A. Springer, age 79, of Celina, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019, at her daughter Kelly's home in Celina.
She was born May 25, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents: Edward & Sally K. (Kowalski) Guzowski, and step-father, Joe Witczak, preceded her in death. Barbara married Donald C. Springer on September 5, 1959, and he preceded her in death February 10, 1993.
She is survived by four children: Karen M. Springer of Columbus, Donald C. Springer Jr. of Celina, Michael E. Springer of Kerrville, TX and Kelly A. Springer of Celina; two grandchildren: Brittany Springer and Nolan McRavin; and two great-grandchildren: Lonnie & Victoria Stidham.
Barbara was a homemaker, and had retired after working 13 years as a nurse's aide at Briarwood Manor in Coldwater. A member of Immaculate Conception Church in Celina, some pastimes Barbara enjoyed were walking and reading.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at Immaculate Conception Church in Celina, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 16. Fr. Ken Schnipke, C.PP.S., will preside. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery in Celina.
Calling Hours are from 2-4 & 6-8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15, and 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Friday, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
