* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Darke and Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 1230 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 929 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Fort Recovery, Sharps Crossing, Greenville, Coldwater, Union City, St. Henry, Ansonia, Burkettsville, North Star, Rossburg, New Weston, Rose Hill, Brock, Cosmos, andPikeville.

Charles Ayers
Charles H. Ayers, age 93, of Celina, Ohio, passed away 9:20 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Parkside Village Senior Living in Westerville, Ohio.
He was born November 17, 1926 in Celina, to the late Charles H. and Hazel (Hoel) Ayers. On February 15, 1951 he married Pauline A. (Ballinger) Ayers and she preceded him in death on May 16, 2014.
Surviving are his children, Charles D. Ayers, Celina, Elise A. (William) Schwartzwalder, Columbus, Craig M. (Robin) Ayers, Atlanta, Georgia, and Mary A. (Robert) Testoff, Highland, Maryland; a sister, Marilyn (Ira) Belcher, Celina; nine grandchildren, Kara Ayers, Bret (Kim) Ayers, Devon Schwartzwalder, Joseph Schwartzwalder, Thomas Testoff, Alexander Testoff, Addison Testoff, Allison Ayers and Nicole Ayers; and four great grandchildren, Emma Ayers, Paige Ayers, Mason Ayers and Lauren Rose Ayers.
Also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Rosie Ayers; and a brother Frank E. Ayers.
Charlie was a 1944 graduate of Celina Senior High and attended college. He served his country in the United States Navy during the WWII Era. He was president and owner of Ayers Asphalt Paving, Inc.
He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose #1473, Celina, American Legion Post #210, Celina, Fraternal Order of Eagles #1291, Celina, Americans United for Separation of Church and State, Veterans of Foreign War Post #5713, Celina and Mercer County Sportsmen's Association.
Charlie enjoyed singing, telling stories, dancing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He also was very proud to write a book about his memoirs.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercer County Sportsman Association.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cisco Funeral Home, Celina and St. Marys.
