* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Rev. Kenneth Sommer
Father Kenneth J. Sommer, SM born Dayton, Ohio, professed first vows in the Society of Mary (Marianists) in 1947, perpetual vows in 1952, ordained in 1959.
He entered into eternal rest December 17, 2019, in Dayton, OH. He was son of the late Charles and Verona (Hoying) Sommer; and preceded in death by his brother Eugene and wife Patricia, and first cousin Father John Bensman.
Father Ken taught and served as chaplain at Marianist schools: Cathedral Latin School in Cleveland, Ohio, North Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and St. Joseph High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He was also a campus minister at Cleveland State University and The University of Dayton.
In addition, he was assistant pastor at St. Francis de Sales Parish in Cincinnati, Ohio. For years he also ministered to the Catholic Men's Fellowship of Greater Cincinnati.
Visitation from 9:15 to 10:30 A.M. December 23, 2019 at Queen of Apostles Chapel, Mt. St. John, 4435 East Patterson Road, Dayton, Ohio.
Mass of Christian burial follows at 10:30 A.M. Internment immediately following the Mass at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mt. St. John, Dayton.
