All-Star swimmers

Brothers Griffin (left) and Gavin Luebke competed as part of Team Ohio at the Mid States All-Star Meet last weekend in Indianapolis. The meet featured swimmers from Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Griffin, an eighth-grader at St. Marys Middle School, finished ninth in the 100-yard butterfly, 13th in the 100 breaststroke and 17th in the 50 freestyle and also swam a leg of the 200 medley relay that finished third overall. Gavin, a fifth-grader at Celina Intermediate School, was ninth in the 100 breaststroke. Both brothers swim for the Auglaize-Mercer Family YMCA Waves swim team.
