* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.

Janie Judy

Janie Diane Judy age 68, a former Jay County resident passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

She resided at the Jay County Retirement Center for several years before going to Rosewood Manor in Muncie.

Janie was born February 22, 1951 in Jay County, Indiana the daughter of Acil and Velma (Lee) Judy.

Survivors Include: Sister in law - Mary Lou Judy, Ft. Recovery, Ohio; Nephew - Tom Judy, Rockford, Ohio; Niece - Amy Jo Wilcox (husband - Douglas), Evansville, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents Acil and Velma Judy, and a brother, Duane Judy.

Private funeral services for the family will be held at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Steve Arnold will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Salamonia Cemetery, southeast of Portland.
