Linda Dues
Linda Louise Dues, age 75, of Celina, Ohio, died Tuesday morning March 31, 2020 at The James Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born April 15, 1944 in Celina to the late Stephen & Rosella (Minnich) Braun. On September 14, 1963, she married Donald Dues and he survives in Celina.
Also surviving are her children, Jeffry Dues of New Bremen, Keith Dues of Celina and Marie & Roland Bruggeman of Portland; grandchildren: Michael & Jackie Bruggeman and Mitchell Bruggeman; great granddaughter Riley Bruggeman; siblings and in-laws, Carl & Judie Braun, Ivo Braun, Rita Heyne, Loudonna & Carl Van Den Bosch, Viola Braun, Alice & Roger Klosterman, Arnold Westgerdes, Bob & Joey Dues, Mary Jane Dues, Janet Dues and Patricia & Greg Myers.
Linda is preceded in death by a son Steve, granddaughter Michelle Bruggeman; siblings and in-laws, Esther & Otis Marchal, Marcene & Louis Burris, Virgil Braun, Linus & Ginny Braun, Virginia & Alfred Knapke, Viola Westgerdes and James Dues.
Linda was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Coldwater, the Coldwater Eagles, Coldwater American Legion Auxiliary, Celina V.F.W. Auxiliary, Celina Moose and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
She graduated from Ft. Recovery High School in 1962 and worked at the former Mersman and Huffy plants in Celina and retired from Setex in St. Marys. She enjoyed crocheting, doing sudoku, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Due to COVID-19 a private family Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, April 3, 2020 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater with live stream at http://www.coldwatercluster.org/node/29. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the James Cancer Center (https://cancer.osu.edu/) or the wishes of the family.
