* WHEN...From 5 AM early this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Sidney Showalter
Sidney L. "Sid" Showalter, age 72, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 2:09 am at Mercer Health Systems in Coldwater, Ohio.
He was born on November 26, 1947 in Valparaiso, Indiana. He married Betty (May) Showalter on May 27, 1983 and she survives at the residence in Celina.
Other survivors include his children, Andy (Lora) Darras, Celina, Rodney (Michelle) Showalter, Celina, Eric (Tricia) Showalter, Pensacola, Florida and Carmon Showalter, Ft. Wayne, Indiana; a son-in-law, David Hawkins, Celina; three sisters, Anita Baer, Van Wert, Candice (Dave) Starkey, Mt. Dora, Florida and Joy Showalter, Van Wert; two brothers, Mitchell Showalter, Michigan and Dean (Tammy) Showalter, Van Wert; a half-brother, Jim Showalter; two half-sisters, Jeanne Johnston and Sue Showalter; 18 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and his faithful dog, Sammy.
Preceded in death by his father, Louis Showalter; step-father and mother, Cal (Ruth) Neiford; a daughter, Amy Hawkins; a sister, Barbara Brickley; a brother, Jacob Showalter; and a half-brother, Larry Showalter.
Sid worked for 25 years at Huffy Bicycle Manufacturing Company in Celina. Following his employment at Huffy's, he went on to be a self-employed transporter for many years.
Sid was a loving and generous man who enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all.
Due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 virus, we will be following the guidelines set by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine's office. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
