CELINA - A hospitalized boy 10 years old or younger represents one of 14 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported on Tuesday, raising Mercer County's total to 156.

COLDWATER - A Coldwater manufacturer of customized packaging will soon crank out 2 million isolation gowns a month for health care providers, assisted-living centers and other businesses in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Coldwater is home to one of Novolex's nine North American facilities that are mass-producing personal protective equipment being shipped across the nation, said Galen Killam, a senior technology and product manager. [More]

Official cites supply issue associated with pandemic
NEW BREMEN - A Crown Equipment Corp. spokesperson confirmed on Monday that the company had implemented voluntary and involuntary layoffs at the New Bremen and Celina locations but declined to release the number of laid-off employees.

Then, her scholarship offer to Sinclair Community College got pulled when the school closed its athletics programs for 2020-21 due to the COVID-19 crisis.
Minster's panel of voters needed a little extra time to come up with their final list of amazing athletes. An abundance of talented individuals and a Midwest Athletic Conference-high 37 state championships required a little extra thought.
