Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow. Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
Lake Facilities Authority to buy 89 acres for preserve

CELINA - Lake Facilities Authority board members on Thursday approved spending $1.1 million to buy 88.9 acres of land as part of a $1.5 million project to create a treatment train at the junction of Burntwood and Coldwater creeks.
