Justin Hanna
Justin Michael Hanna, 42, passed away Sunday morning, July 12, 2020, at his home in Ohio City.
He was born on January 17, 1978, in Van Wert County, the son of the late Carl Dennis "Mike" Hanna and Pamela (Butcher) Hanna Rickard who survives in Ohio City. Justin was also preceded in death by his step father Tad Alan Rickard.
Family survivors include his two sisters Jenny Hanna of Ohio City and Michele (Derek) Stukey of Willshire; two grandmothers, Marjorie Comer of Coldwater and Joanne Rickard of Rockford; two nieces Ashleigh DeLeon of Scott and MaKennya Hanna of Ohio City; one nephew Seth Stukey of Willshire; and an aunt Paula (Terry) Gehm of Rockford.
Justin had worked at the Thomas Edison School and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1292, Rockford.
The family will be having calling hours from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Knittle of Praise Point Church, Willshire, officiating. Interment will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina, Ohio. A video of the services will be available after 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at cowanfuneralhome.com.
