CELINA - A Bradford man was arrested on Sunday after his reported involvement in a three-vehicle accident that day that killed a Coldwater woman.
Teddy Hale, 28, was being held on Monday in the Mercer County jail on a $500,000 bond, facing a charge of driving under license suspension. Further charges are expected to be filed, according to a Celina Police Department news release. [More]

ST. MARYS - Two first-half goals by senior Lil Ankerman got the St. Marys girls soccer team off and running and on its way to a 4-2 victory over Elida Monday night at Roughrider Field.
With its sixth consecutive victory, St. Marys remains unbeaten in the Western Buckeye League at 5-0-1 and improves to 7-3-1 overall. [More]

CELINA - City councilors continue to inch toward establishing a comprehensive city sidewalk program that would address residential, commercial and industrial properties.
ST. HENRY - Village council members hired Stan Sutter as the new village administrator during Monday's meeting.
Council members under suspension of rules unanimously approved his appointment after meeting in executive session for roughly 20 minutes.
ST. MARYS - City council members on Monday performed first reading of a resolution that would rename the area referred to as High Street Park.
The area would be designated as Mill Park, due to its proximity to the historic mill being restored on the opposite bank of the Miami-Erie Canal.
CELINA - Active cases of COVID-19 in Mercer County were down considerably on Monday as one new case raised the county's total to 1,055.
Auglaize County did not report any information by press time.
Trick or treat set for Oct. 25
CELINA - Officials have canceled the annual Celina Lions Club Halloween parade due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, mayor Jeff Hazel announced at Monday night's regular council meeting.
NEW BREMEN - Village council members on Monday approved an ordinance to purchase 139.45 acres of land for $1.5 million.
The land is located on State Route 274, 2.2 miles east of the village in Van Buren Township.
Celina shuts out Defiance in WBL match
CELINA - Celina's seniors had their best memories read over the loudspeakers during Monday's girls soccer Senior Night ceremony.
They made some more memories at the soccer stadium, too.
