The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Wilma Criss
Wilma (Brunswick) Criss, age 87, of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, died on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Pearl of Rolling Meadows.
She was born January 31, 1933, in Wendelin to the late Albert and Othelia (Schmit) Brunswick.
She is survived by 4 children. Steve and Sue Criss and family, Omaha, Nebraska. Larry and Kristine Criss and family, Peru, Illinois. Don and Jeanine Bogdanovski and family, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Alan Criss of Chicago, Illinois. She is survived by in-laws Pat Brunswick of Coldwater, Ohio, and Luella Lochtefeld of Fort Recovery, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence (Chester) Criss and siblings. Harold Brunswick, Romie (Jane) Brunswick, Donald Brunswick, Bob (Tottie) Brunswick and in-law Rich Lochtefeld.
She graduated from St. Elizabeth school of Nursing in Dayton, Ohio. She was a nurse in the Mt. Prospect area for many years.
Services are today, November 6th, 2020, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights, Illinois. She was cremated.
