* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1044 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

James Kessen
James A. Kessen, age 69, of Carthagena, died on Tuesday November 10, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born December 25, 1950 in Celina, to the late Albert & Rita (Mertz) Kessen.
He is survived by siblings Ann & Richard Mueller of New Bremen, Michael & Linda Kessen of Carthagena, Kathleen Robinson of Lakeview, Jane & Tom Feltz of Maria Stein, Dennis Kessen of Carthagena, Mary Kessen of Celina, Tom & Julie Kessen of Carthagena and Nancy & Craig Gray of Celina.
He is preceded in death by brothers, Steve Kessen and John Kessen; and brother-in-law Lari Robinson.
He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Carthagena, Celina Moose and Chickasaw V.F.W. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army stationed in Korea. He enjoyed golfing and biking. He retired from Crown Control in New Bremen after more than 45 years.
The family would like to receive friends but due to COVID-19 concerns a private Mass will be held. Burial with military rites will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery. The Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry is handling the arrangements.
