Michael Richards
Michael "Mike" D. Richards, age 55, of St. Marys, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Joint Township Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born on March 31, 1965 in Celina to the late Fred and Helen (Shumate) Richards. On May 9, 1996 he married Traci (McKinney) Richards and she survives at the residence.
Mike is also survived by his children, Eric (Sierra) Richards, Celina, Staci (Clyde) White, Lima, Chelsea (Adam) Fletcher, Celina and Cody Moyler, Lima; two brothers, Wayne Richards, Celina and Glen Richards, Celina; three sisters, Donna (Dick) Birt, Celina, Jackie (Mike) Fowler, Celina and Tina Richards, Celina; 11 grandchildren, Kyli, Brady, Lexi, Landon, Cayden, Averi, Jaylynn, Keeghan, James, Jackson and Raelynn; many nieces and nephews; and his fur baby, Zoey.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tim Richards.
Mike was a 1983 graduate of Celina Senior High School. He proudly served his country in the United States in the Marines. Houston Electric Pluming Heating & Air Conditioning after 17 years of service.
Mike attended Celina Baptist Temple. The most important to Mike was his family, having a large interest in his grandchildren; he loved spending time with all of them and will be deeply missed by all. He also enjoyed shooting guns, fishing and working on cars.
Visitation hours will take place on Monday, December 7, 2020 from 9:00 am-11:00 am at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina. Funeral service will immediately follow visiting hours at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina, with military rites to be conducted by Celina American Legion Post #210 and VFW Post #5713.
Attendees are required to follow social distancing and guidelines dictated by the Ohio Department of Health, due to the national concerns of COVID-19. Masks are required by attendees at the visitation and funeral.
