J. Scott Halterman
J. Scott Halterman, age 80 of Coldwater, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born March 6, 1940 in Decatur, Indiana to the late John L. & Ethel M. (Robinson) Halterman. On June 8, 1963 he married Patricia (Kramer) and she survives.
He is also survived by two sons Jay (Lisa) Halterman and Jeff (Glenda) Halterman all of Coldwater; grandchildren, Jared, Jenna, Janelle, Zachary (Brittany), Caitlin (Corey Decker) and Ryan (fiancée Hannah); great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Braycen, Madilyn, Bexten; brother Dave (Portia) Halterman of Florida and a sister Julie (Phil) Olden of Cincinnati.
He is preceded in death by a brother Chris Halterman.
Scott formerly owned and operated ACE hardware in Coldwater and Celina. He was a member of the Coldwater Lions Club, Celina Moose. Scott enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Due to COVID-19 concerns a private funeral service was held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial followed at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
