At 837 PM EDT, radar indicated that a tornado-producing storm was located over New Knoxville, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado. At 8:35 PM, a tornado was reported just west of New Knoxville.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
Locations impacted include... Wapakoneta, Fort Shawnee, Cridersville, Botkins, Lakeview, New Knoxville, Waynesfield, Moulton, Uniopolis, Fryburg, New Hampshire, and St. Johns.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 106 and 118.

Kenneth A. Krauss
Kenneth A. Krauss, age 76, of St. Marys passed away at 10:00 pm on January 9, 2021 at the Heritage Manor Nursing Center in Minster. He was born on December 30, 1944 in Celina to the Kenneth E. & Nellie (Glass) Krauss; his father, Kenneth, preceded him in death and his mother, Nellie, survives at Otterbein in St. Marys.
On November 2, 1963 he married Cheryl Krauss who survives in St. Marys.
Kenneth is survived by his loving family, wife: Cheryl Krauss of St. Marys; children: Christine (Nicholas) Barlage of Celina, Dawn Leugers of Fort Recovery, Michelle Kroeger of Delphos and Terry (Melinda) Krauss of St. Marys; one sister: Connie (William Meiring) Dennings of New Bremen; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Kenneth was a 1963 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He retired after thirty-five years of employment from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in St. Marys. Kenneth was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys.
A private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Cisco Funeral Home in St. Marys.
Attendees are required to follow social distancing and guidelines dictated by the Ohio Department of Health, due to the national concerns of COVID-19. Masks are required by attendees at visitation and funeral service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association and/or Grand Lake Hospice.
