Teresa Smith
Teresa M. Smith, 64, of St. Marys, OH died 2:58 p.m. Friday February 5, 2021 in the emergency department of JTDM Hospital.
She was born April 1, 1956 in Coldwater, OH to Arnold and Nelva (Tangeman) Smith.
She is survived by: son Shaun (Tracy) Hunter; daughter Kara (Robert) Ruedisueli; 2 grandchildren: Corbin and Ryan Hunter; mother Nelva Smith; brother Francis "Frank" (Susan) Smith; brother James "Mike" Smith; sister Vivian (Carl) Fly; brother Roger (Stacey) Smith; sister Hope (John Schmidt) Smith; brother of the heart Charlie (Mae) Smith; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; lifelong friends Linda "Midge" Yaney and Angela Kirk (who was the only person that could get away with calling her "Red").
Preceded in death by: father Arnold Smith; long-time companion Randy Kohler; brother Douglas Smith; sister Esther Darlene Smith; sister-in-law Susan Jackson; nephew Jamison Godfrey; great-niece Kelsey Godfrey; former husband Rex Hunter.
She attended New Bremen High School and was a homemaker.
Her favorite pastimes included making crafts, listening to Rock and Roll music, searching for treasures at thrift stores and caring for animals (including strays).
Teresa was very dedicated to her family and friends, and often gave thoughtful gifts to them. She will be dearly missed!
Rites are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday February 10, 2021 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.
Burial will follow at the Swamp College Cemetery in rural Celina, OH.
Visitation 5 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Please note that all attendees to the funeral service should observe social-distancing and wear face masks, according to guidelines recommended by the Ohio Dept. of Health.
