Dorothy Fritz
Dorothy L. Fritz, 92, of St. Marys, OH died 9:15 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Vancrest of St. Marys.
She was born April 29, 1928 in Wapakoneta, OH to Ivan and Louise (Schmith) Jurosic. On May 25, 1950 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta, OH she married Robert J. Fritz, who died January 14, 2014.
Survivors include: daughter Nancy (Richard) Hornick of Mt. Vernon, OH; Son David (Susan) Fritz of St. Marys, OH; Grandchildren: Mathew (Jessica) Bunnell, Laura Taylor, Ashley (Brian Politowski) Bunnell, Amy (Jon) Crusie, Kelly (Anthony) Wolery; Great-grandchildren: Jacob and Logan Taylor, Myles and Piper Bunnell, Samuel and Robert Crusie; Sister Elizabeth "Betty" Thompson of Bonita Springs, FL.
Preceded in death by: parents Ivan and Louise Jurosic; husband Robert Fritz 8; siblings: Carolyn Fisher, Robert "Bob" Jurosic, Margaret Jane Kennedy, Katherine "Kate" Volbert, Evelyn "Eppy" Smith, Richard "Dick" Jurosic, James "Jim" Jurosic, Judith "Judy" Jurosic.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School in Wapakoneta, OH (Class of 1947). She worked as a production employee for Crown Equipment Corp. in New Bremen, OH for many years. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Her favorite pastimes included traveling on bus tours, reading, solving word search puzzles, supporting the OSU Buckeyes and watching televised movies on the Hallmark Channel.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Alexander Witt, celebrant. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton, OH.
Visitation is 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Friday at the church.
