Delicate hoarfrost

Low temperatures left a delicate covering of hoarfrost on the trees along the Celina-Coldwater Bike Path on Wednesday morning. According to information from the National Weather Service, hoarfrost forms in a similar fashion as dew, except that the temperature of the frosted object, in this case tree branches, must be below freezing.
