Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Joseph Lynch
Joseph R. Lynch, 96, of St. Marys, OH died 8:40 a.m. Thursday March 25, 2021 at Vancrest of St. Marys.
He was born June 28, 1924 in St. Marys, OH to John and Lyda (Moeller) Lynch.
Survivors include: brother Robert (Sue) Lynch of St. Marys, OH; brother Thomas Lynch of St. Marys, OH; sister Betty Durnell of St. Marys, OH; sister Barbara Bubp of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents John and Lyda Lynch; brother Charles (Annabelle) Lynch; brother William Lynch; brother James (Wilma) Lynch; sister Mary Ann Steele; brother David "Pete" (Janet, Velma) Lynch; sister Alice (David) Anderson; brothers-in-law David Durnell and Bruce Bubp
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1942).
Following graduation, he was drafted into the United States Army. He proudly served his country in the European Theatre during World War II, for which he was awarded a bronze star.
In his younger years, Joe worked at the former Heinie's Bar & Grill and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., both in St. Marys. He then began working for American Airlines, from where he eventually retired after being assigned to Dayton International Airport, Pittsburgh International Airport and Bergstrom International Airport in Austin, TX.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, VFW Post #9289 and Eagles Lodge Aerie #767, both in St. Marys.
His favorite pastimes included walking, riding his bicycle, golfing and spending time with his family and friends. He was especially proud of his bright red Chevrolet Camaro, of which he took meticulous care.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday March 29, 2021 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Alexander Witt, celebrant.
Burial, with graveside military honors, will follow at the Gethsemane Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at the Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Additional visitation 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Monday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be directed to either Friends of Holy Rosary school or Grand Lake Hospice.
