* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Cold wind chill will occur late tonight into Sunday morning.

Thomas Wendeln
Thomas L. Wendeln age 59 of Minster, Ohio died Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at his home.
He was born July 4, 1961 in St. Marys, Ohio to the late Joseph & Dorothy Marie (Chilcoat) Wendeln. He married Roseann Dirksen on February 6, 1988 in Cranberry Prairie. She survives in Minster.
He is also survived by children: Benjamin, Minster, Joshua, Minster, Grant & Leanne both at home, granddaughter Emily; brother Fred Wendeln, New Bremen, sisters, Carole Fuerst, Minster, Barbara & Roger Heckman, Versailles, in-laws Janet & Leon Ruhenkamp, Versailles, Bernice & Henry Albers, McCartyville, Elaine & Dennis Bruns, New Bremen, Delbert & Janice Dirksen, Versailles, Mary Barhorst, Anna, Marilyn & Pat Bergman, Versailles, Doris Kremer, Versailles, Gabriel & Shirley Dirksen, Cranberry Prairie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother David, brother-in-law Richard Fuerst, sister-in-law Kelley Wendeln, in-laws Eugene & Josephine (Fullenkamp) Dirksen, Greg Barhorst, Mark Kremer.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt and the Men's Sodality. He was a member of the Egypt Community Club and was a lifelong farmer and employed for 42 years at Precision Strip, Minster. Tom loved his family and spending time with them.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM on Monday, April 12, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. The mass will be livestreamed on St. Augustine YouTube, web page and Facebook page. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery, Minster.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 1 to 6 PM on Sunday, April 11, 2021 and from 9 to 9:30 AM on Monday. Visitors are asked to follow CDC guidelines.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to charities of the donor's choice.
