CELINA - Beaches around Grand Lake remain under an elevated recreational public health advisory, despite the Ohio Department of Health on Thursday incorrectly sending out notifications that the advisories had been lifted.
Around 8:27 a.m. Thursday, the state's department of health sent out email notifications that the advisories at Windy Point, Main West and the state park campground had been removed by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. [More]
First inning helps St. Marys defeat Bath

LIMA - After not getting a run in a 1-0, eight-inning loss to Bath in the regular season, St. Marys wasn't taking any chances in the rematch.
The Roughriders scored three in the top of the first inning and pitcher Karsyn McGlothen and the defense picked each other up in beating the Wildkittens 4-3 in the Division II district softball semifinal on Thursday on the campus of the University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima. [More]

Feds attach strict spending restrictions
