* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 104 possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity combined with very warm low temperatures can be especially hazardous as the overnight hours provide little relief from the heat. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Donald Brown
Donald 'Don' R. Brown, age 90, of Wayne Lakes in Greenville (formerly of Celina), died Saturday, June 19, 2021 with his family by his side at Everheart Hospice Care Center, Greenville.
He was born on April 3, 1931 in Mercer County to the late Cleon & Lucille (Kaiser) Brown. He married Beverly R. Warnick (Swander) on April 6, 1951 who preceded him in death in 1992. He is survived by two children, Jeff (Marcy) Brown of Celina, Jorja (Russell) Steiner of Dayton; five grandchildren, Justyn (Tony) Ruble, Josh Desmond, Jason Desmond, Courtney (Jonathan) Oltman and Megan King; and three great grandchildren.
After the death of Beverly he then married Lois (August) Weitzel of Coldwater and she died in 2016. He is also survived by four stepchildren, Sue (Ralph) Wendel, Diane Henderson, Steve Weitzel, and Randy Weitzel; and numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, Vivian Chaney, Tom Brown, and brother-in-law Glenn Scott.
He is preceded in death by a sister Madonna Scott, and brother-in-law, Jack Chaney.
Don was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a welder, metal fabricator and foreman at Celina Manufacturing, AVCO New Idea, Unico and Schuck Welding.
Don's real passion was building and remodeling homes with his family and friends. He loved spending time with his extended family and friends at his house on Wayne Lakes. In his retirement he spent many hours enjoying this peaceful life while reading western novels.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. There will be no services as per Don's wishes.
