* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ruth Billger
Ruth Billger, age 89 of Celina, passed away at 4:50 am on July 10, 2021 at Gardens of Celina. She was born July 10, 1932 in Coldwater to the late Joe and Hilda (Thobe) Hein. On May 17, 1952 she married Lee C. Billger and he preceded her in death on January 20, 2017.
Ruth is survived by two sons, Steve (Laura) Billger, Celina, and Mike (Angel) Billger, Celina; a daughter, Cathy Rosengarten, Celina; a brother, Lester (Dorothy) Hein, Coldwater; two sisters, Rose Moorman, Coldwater and Mary Geier, Coldwater; three grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Edgar Moorman and Louis Geier.
Ruth was a 1950 graduate of Coldwater High School. She retired from the Celina Group and had worked at Mersmans, Celina and the former New Idea, Coldwater. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Sodality in Celina.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Cisco Funeral Homes in Celina.
Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:30 am on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina with Fr. Kenneth Schnipke C.PP.S., officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at the funeral home Wednesday morning.
Internment will follow mass at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Immaculate Conception Church Endowment Fund.
