* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette IN, Franklin IN, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union IN and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette OH, Franklin OH, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union OH and Warren.

Marilyn Braun
Marilyn Jeanette Braun, 84, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at her home.
She was born on July 31, 1937, in Darke County, to the late Clem and Genora (Koverman) Schlater.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her 3 children, Linda Marie, Baby Boy, and Diane Marie; brothers, Ed Schlater, and Earl (Ginny) Schlater; her son-in-law, Patrick Myers; her sisters-in-law, Irene Schlater and Marilyn Schlater; and her in-laws, Harold (Ruth) Schwieterman and Alfred Sudhoff.
Marilyn was a homemaker for a majority of her life. She was member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fort Recovery, where she participated in the Altar Rosary Sodality.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 64 years, Paul D. Braun, whom she married on December 29, 1956; her children, Dave (Deb) Braun of Montezuma, Ohio, Jim (Becky) Braun of Troy, Ohio, and Deb Myers of London, Ohio; her 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; her siblings, Louis Schlater of North Star, Ohio, Kenneth Schlater of Burkettsville, Ohio, Melvin (Pat) Schlater of Vandalia, Ohio, Donald (Margaret) Schlater of Columbus, Ohio, and Betty (Paul) Sherman of Russia, Ohio; her sister-in-law, Velma Schlater of North Star; and her in-law, Cleo Sudhoff of Macedon, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 AM, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, with Father Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Per Marilyn's request, there will be no public visitation. However, the family invites you to join them in a reception of friends following the committal service in the church undercroft.
