Western Logan County in west central Ohio... Northeastern Shelby County in west central Ohio... * WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 306 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... WAPAKONETA - Thirty three new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Auglaize County since last Thursday and health officials warned that cases were trending upward again as the highly contagious delta variant continues to circulate in the county.
CELINA - The Lake Facilities Authority will support Mercer County's purchase of approximately 117 acres of land that will be made into wetlands by providing a $100,000 match.
Mercer County's unemployment rate for July was 3.8%, a slight improvement from June's rate of 3.9%.
