Ruth Harrington
Ruth S. Harrington, "Peggy" passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 22, 2021.
Peggy was born in Dennison, Minnesota to Bessie and Herbert Curry and grew up in Celina, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Herb Curry of Cincinnati and her husband of 63 years, Donald Harrington.
She is survived by her children, Susan of Put In Bay, Ohio; John and his wife Nina, of Island Park, Idaho; Bob and his wife, Teresa of Three Forks, Montana; and granddaughter, Nicole and her three sons, Brayden Tristan and Preston of Great Falls, Montana.
Peggy graduated from Miami University. She and her husband Dan lived all over the United States and traveled to over 100 countries. They returned to Oxford in 1999. Peggy loved to travel especially with family. She traveled Route 66 stopping for all the roadside Attractions of America. She was always ready for adventures and rode camels in Egypt and traveled through the ice pack to see polar bears and snorkel with sea lions. Peggy was known for knitting beautiful sweaters and baking the world's best pineapple cookies. Peggy also loved dogs and dogs loved Peggy!
Peggy has donated her body to the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. No burial services are planned at this time.
