Dorla Rempe
Dorla D. E. Rempe, 87, of St. Marys Twp., OH died 5:10 a.m. Monday August 30, 2021 at Otterbein -- St. Marys.
She was born April 12, 1934 in St. Marys, OH to Leo George and Bertha H. (Schroerlucke) Goodwin. On June 4, 1952 in Richmond, IN she married Paul C. Rempe, who died July 9, 2015
Survivors include son Chris Rempe of St. marys, OH, daughter Kathy Rempe of St. Marys, OH, daughter Stacey Rempe of St. Marys, OH, brother Leo "Fritz" (Nancy) Goodwin of Louisville, KY, brother Leroy Goodwin of St. Marys, OH, brother Lester "Gene" (Cheryl) Goodwin of Springboro, OH, brother-in-law Paul Walker of Coldwater, MI and close family friend Cari (Terry) Fisher of St. Marys, OH
She is preceded in death by parents Leo George and Bertha Goodwin; husband Paul Rempe; three infant children: Lyle David Rempe, Todd Allen Rempe, Beth Ann Rempe; brother Jerry Goodwin; sister Linda "Susie" Walker; sister-in-law Janice Goodwin.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1952). Dorla retired from JTDM Hospital in St. Marys, where she worked in the accounting department. She will be remembered for her sharp mind and dry sense of humor. Her favorite pastimes included mowing her sizable lawn and caring for her canine companions.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday September 4, 2021 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation is from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
