Nancy Lee McGovern, 78, of Sidney passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at 2:52 PM at Wilson Health.

She was born on December 31, 1942 in Celina, Ohio, the daughter of the late Cleo Willmann. On June 23, 2001, Nancy married Patrick McGovern, who survives.

She is survived by three children, Leslie Brubaker-Tubb of Sidney, Joe (Lisa) McGovern of New Bremen and Katy (Joel) Slane of Troy; eight grandchildren, Dannielle, Cassie, Steven, Stanley, Kati, Aidan, Connor and Liam; six great-grandchildren, Kaden, Caylee, Alivia, Maggie, Easton and Julian; brother-in-law, Rick (Samantha McCoy) Brubaker; nephew, Weslee and niece, Hallie.

Nancy was preceded in death by husband, Thomas "Bats" Brubaker and daughter, Julia Brubaker-Tope.

Mrs. McGovern was employed by Wilson Health as a Registered Nurse for over 54 years. 25 of those years she worked for Dr. Harris. Nancy loved flowers and gardening. She loved gardening so much that she became a Master Gardener. She also enjoyed traveling and camping in their RV. Nancy would always watch the Ohio State Buckeyes and advised her family not to disturb her when the Buckeyes played.

Funeral Services will be held Friday September 17, 2021 at 10 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave Sidney with Rev. Eileen Hix officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco, Ohio.

Friends may visit Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4 PM until 7 PM at funeral home.
