MARIA STEIN - A farm accident that resulted in the death of a Maria Stein man Thursday is under investigation by the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies were called to the scene of 7107 Indian Trail Road, Maria Stein, at 9:10 a.m. after central dispatch received a 911 call reporting a male that "may have been struck with a grain wagon."
First responders reportedly were unable to revive the subject, who was later identified as Brian Dahlinghaus, 66, who lived at that address. [More]
