* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional storms will move into the area after midnight, persisting through late Friday morning. Heavy rain can be expected with these storms, with the risk of flash flooding increasing with storms that repeatedly move over the same locations.

Martha Kennard
Martha Washington (Preston) Kennard, age 99 of Montezuma, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Otterbein St. Marys SeniorLife Community.
She was born on February 22, 1922 to the late William Albert & Melvina (Gorsuch) Preston in Montezuma. On January 17, 1946, she married Franklin P. Kennard, who passed away on March 7, 1994.
She is survived by her children Bill (Louise) Kennard of Cincinnati, Doug (Mollie) Kennard of Martinsburg, WV, Dan (Kathy) Kennard of Findlay, Frank Kennard of Seattle, WA, step daughter Evalee Sexton. Grandchildren Audra Yacks, Sydne (Brad) Holt, Joel (Megan) Kennard, Kathryn (Ken) White, Sam Schiable, Gus Schaible, Abe Schaible, great grandchildren Lauren Yacks, Camryn Yacks, Rob Holt, Will Holt, Sam Kennard, Lucie Kennard, Ingrid Kennard, Fiona Kennard, and Finn Kennard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, step son Bruce Kennard, step son-in-law Hubert Sexton, good friend Harvey Whitacre, brothers Carlton Preston, Iver Preston, Leo Preston, Russell Preston, Lester Preston, Jeffrey Preston, Clyde Preston and sisters Gladys Seaman and Maire Manning.
Martha graduated from Celina High School with the class of 1940. She was a very active member of the Montezuma Church of Christ, member of the Order of Eastern Stars Chapter #91 in Celina and she served on the Mercer County Board of Election. One of Martha's greatest ministries was sharing her musical talents with people in the local nursing homes. She volunteered with the "My Very Own Blanket" project, which created over three thousand blankets for foster children. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, being involved with her Church and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Kevin Neumann officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellis Cemetery, Montezuma.
Friends and family may call an hour before services at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made out to the Otterbein SeniorLife Community, 11230 State Route 364 St. Marys, Ohio 45885.
