Periods of light snow will occur this evening and through the overnight. While accumulating snow is expected to end before Thursday morning, falling temperatures and light snow accumulations of one to two inches will result in slick travel tonight and early Thursday.
Slick spots can be expected on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. If traveling, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for wintery driving conditions.
In addition to the snowfall, falling temperatures combined with increased winds will result in feels-like temperatures near zero Thursday morning. If heading outdoors, dress in multiple layers.

Lester Schaffer
Lester W. Schaffer, age 75, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 12:40 am at Celina Manor.
He was born October 5, 1946 in Lima, Ohio to the late Orley and Blanche (Kundert) Schaffer. On October 30, 1971 he married Rebecca "Becky" Schaffer and they were together for 50 years.
He is survived by two sons, Brian Schaffer, Celina and Craig (Candace) Schaffer, Van Wert; two sister, Marilynn Schaffer, Celina and Barbara (Rick) Schaffer, Van Wert; a brother, Jim Schaffer, Wapakoneta; and three grandsons, Kaden, Kole and Karter Schaffer.
Lester is also preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria Barnett and Connie Orchard.
He was a 1964 graduate of Spencerville High School. He retired from Budd Company in Van Wert after 20 years of service. He was a life member of Celina VFW Post #5713.
Funeral services will be held at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11:00 am, with Pastor Brian Vernon officiating; where the family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am prior to the service.
Private graveside services will be at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Schaffer family.
