County home demolished

The 161-year-old Mercer County home is razed by workers from Advanced Demolition Services of McComb. County commissioners have not revealed future plans they have for the property. The last remaining residents were moved to assisted living and nursing care facilities or apartments by May this year. An auction of chattels was held in September.
