Carolyn J. Waterman, 88, of St. Marys, OH died at 10:25 p.m. Friday December 3, 2021 at the Lost Creek Care Center in Lima, OH.

She was born June 25, 1933 in St. Marys, OH to Tom and Edna (Hines) Howell, Sr. On December 15, 1951 in New Bremen, OH she married Allen L. Waterman, who died June 26, 2017.

Survivors include: daughter Cheryl Sheaks of Celina, OH; daughter Tina Waterman of Celina, OH; 3 grandchildren: Melissa (Shannon) Santee of Avon, OH; Tracy (Dean) Klosterman of St. Marys, OH; Jesse (Stephanie) Arnett of Kettering, OH; 6 great-grandchildren: Grace, Cameron and Allison Santee; Ava and Brody Klosterman; Zoe Arnett; sister Althea Wellman of Lima, OH; sister Arliss (Jerry) Martin of Wapakoneta, OH.

Preceded in death by: parents Thomas and Edna Howell; husband Allen Waterman; brother Tommy Howell; sister Winona Brown.

She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1951). She had been employed at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and assisted her husband in the operation of Waterman's 76 Station in St. Marys for many years. Her favorite pastimes included spending winters in Florida, shopping, fishing, playing cards (euchre and hearts) and traveling extensively throughout North America.

Rites are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 11, 2021 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Visitation 2 - 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Marys Theater Project.
