* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity can be especially hazardous as warm overnight temperatures will provide little relief. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Ivo Brackman
Ivo J. Brackman, age 94, of Maria Stein, Ohio died at 12 noon on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at The Gardens of St Henry, Ohio.
He was born on February 25, 1927 in Maria Stein to the late Vincent & Rosa (Bohman) Brackman. He married Jean Brown on September 26, 1953 in Piqua, Ohio and she survives in St. Henry.
He is also survived by sons & daughters-in-law: Michael & Vicki Brackman, New Bremen, James & Kathy Brackman, Minster, John & Janet Brackman, Minster, David & Diana Brackman, Celina, 10 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren sister-in-law Barbara Brackman, Maria Stein.
He was preceded death by son Thomas Brackman, grandson Austin Brackman, brothers Richard Brackman and Victor & Julie Brackman, infant brother Linus and infant sister Maria, brother-in-law Thomas Brown.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, Maria Stein American Legion and Mercer County Elks. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War, graduate of St. Johns School, lifelong farmer, worked at Hemmelgarn Eggs.
Ivo enjoyed golfing, boating, gardening, tending his fruit trees and attending sporting events, especially the Reds, Marion Local Flyers, Bengals.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood. Burial will take place in St. Martin Cemetery Osgood.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, December 27, 2021 and from 9 to 10 AM on Tuesday.
