Periods of light snow will occur this evening and through the overnight. While accumulating snow is expected to end before Thursday morning, falling temperatures and light snow accumulations of one to two inches will result in slick travel tonight and early Thursday.
Slick spots can be expected on roadways, especially bridges and overpasses. If traveling, allow for some extra time to reach your destination and be prepared for wintery driving conditions.
In addition to the snowfall, falling temperatures combined with increased winds will result in feels-like temperatures near zero Thursday morning. If heading outdoors, dress in multiple layers.

William Tostrick
William E. "Bill" Tostrick age 82 of New Bremen, died on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10:20 A.M. at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton after a brief period of illness.
He was born on June 20, 1939 in Sidney, the son of the late Wilson Carl and Esther A. (Thielk) Tostrick. On April 4, 1959 he married Barbara E. Schwarck who survives near New Bremen.
Also surviving are children: Beverly (Ed) Hickerson of Minster and Brian (Holly) Tostrick of New Bremen; his seven grandchildren: Josh (Kathryn) Schwable, Justin (Megan) Schwable, Jacob (Elinda) Schwable, Brittani Fark, Brietta Fark, Brandi (Jarvie) Plotner, and Ellen Tostrick; and his six great-grandchildren: Mason, Jaden, Gavin, Amiyah, Destaney, and James. Also left to cherish his memory his is brother, Rev. John (Karen) Tostrick of New Bremen.
Bill was a life-long member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen where he was faithful in the Bible study group for many years, served as a Deacon, and as the president of the church council, and belonged to the men's group. Bill was a 1957 graduate of New Bremen High School, and he served in the United States Army Reserves for two years after high school while working on the family farm. Farming was Bill's passion and he loved his cattle. For many years he and his family ran a Holstein dairy farm until 2007 when they sold the milking herd and began raising Black Angus cattle. Off the farm, Bill was active in the wider community serving on the New Bremen School Board, the German Twp. Zoning Board, the Auglaize County Soil & Water Conservation District, and the German Protestant Cemetery Board. He was also a charter member of the New Bremen Emergency Squad where he served for 30 years. In his spare time, Bill loved to do puzzles, drive around and look at the crops, and play cards.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen with Rev. Becky Erb Strang officiating. The service will also be live-streamed on the church's Facebook page. Interment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery of New Bremen.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, at the church, prior to the services from 9:00-11:00 A.M.     Memorial contributions in memory of Bill can be made to St. Paul U.C.C. or to the New Bremen Music Boosters.
