Snowmobile races return to lake

CELINA - What was an impromptu idea just five days earlier turned into a thrilling snowmobile race with 150 participants Sunday on Grand Lake.
The event called Ice Drags also came with starting lights, a drag strip and free chili, according to manager of Bayview Sun and Snow Marina and organizer Will Goodwin. The race was held next to the marina. [More]

New Knoxville clinched at least a share of the program's fourth Midwest Athletic Conference girls basketball title with a 51-17 win over St. Henry in a rescheduled game from last Thursday's snow-out on Monday at Redskin Gymnasium.
Marion Local defensive lineman Robby Buschur signed a letter of intent to play football at the University of Findlay.
Buschur, who missed six games this year with an injuries, was an integral part of a defense that powered the Flyers to a 16-0 season and a state title.
